The M1819 siege and garrison gun on the left was made in the West Point Foundry in 1826.
The M1819 siege and garrison gun on the right was forged by McClurg wade & Co Fort Pitt Foundry in 1838.
Both were in storage from 18459 at the Fort Leavenworth Arsenal until they were emplaced at Fort Sully (a battery by the present Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery).
After the Civil War they went back into storage at the Fort Leavenworth Arsenal. They remained there until being placed on permament static display outside of the Frontier Army Museum.
