This "Art" installation on a small hand-made island in a beautifully landscaped drainage pond near the Old Mill at the Wamego KS city park is one of two similar Colunbian Exposition statues on display here. The other statutre, "Science", is on a stone pedestal nearby.
Art is a clothed female figure made of metal that is painted white to look like white marble. She is dressed in flowing robes. She looks down as she gathers some of her robes in her hand, exposing her foot, which rests on a book. She appeares to be holding an artist's paiting pallette in her left hand.
