An old vehicle left on the rubbish heap in a country field, discovered on an outing in the Hawkes Bay countryside. It could be an old Austin perhaps but we're not sure.

We spotted this old vehicle dumped amongst the rubbish in a country paddock and immediately stopped to take a photo. Back in our teenage years, one of our first vehicles looked like this, but slightly better condition! It was an old Austin which did a fine job of carrying surfboards over dusty metal roads to the beach, and this poor old thing on the scrap heap brought back memories of those good old days. Perhaps someone will recognise the make and model?
Can be clearly seen from the roadside on Flag Range Road, sitting in the paddock with the chook house nearby, so there might even be some fresh brown free-range eggs left on the driver's seat!
