Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company sponsors clean-ups all across the nation in conjunction with the "Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup " Teens across America submit their ideas for cleaning and fixing areas and eyesores. Wrigley then chooses 9 of them to sponsor.
The Wrigley’s greenup events were selected based on the teens’ abilities to demonstrate a strong and passionate concern for their local community, illustrate a creative and innovative approach to removing or fixing a community “eyesore,” describe how the clean up would impact others’ lives and/or the community and identify realistic changes that would result in a “transformation.”
This year, Assumption High School’s Science Club from Davenport, IA was chosen for their Community recreation area beautification.
This restroom was part of that program.
