The beach at Trunk Bay is about a quarter of a mile of fine white sand. The water is clear and warm and just perfect for a variety of activities. There is a snorkeling trail with signs describing the underwater flora and fauna. Swimming, kayaking, and SCUBA are also popular at the beach.
The beach is part of a national park and there is a day-use fee of $4 for adults. Children 16 and under are admitted for free. The fee is well worth paying. There facilities contain showers, toilets and changing rooms. There are barbeque pits and picnic tables available. There is a snack-bar that serves tasty hamburgers and other treats.
