This vista dome car was part of the Chicago Burlington and Quincy's Fleet. This type of dome care was introduced in 1947. It is believed to be the only remaining California Zephyr glass-domed dining car in existence. Shortly after being used for several scenes in the film "Pearl Harbor," the car was officially dedicated as Maricopa's Amtrak station in October 2001, before Maricopa became an incorporated city. Presently, the offices/station have been moved to a rather mundane modular building to the South. Unfortunately, you can't tour the inside.
