The Pomona Pitzer Sagehens compete at the NCAA Division III level and are part of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Between 2002 and 2010 the college has won five conference championships. One of their best seasons was 2009 when the won 37 games and were ranked number one in the country. The program at the college has generated several major league baseball players.
