This marker honoring the victims and rescuers of the 1995 Murrah Federal Building in OKC is located at Briarwood Elementary School. The monument is placed in a grassy area at the southeast side of the school property, just off Hudson.
Text on marker:
"Dedicated by the 1995 Briarwood students, patrons, and faculty in memory of those who died and in honor of those who served as a result of the bombing of the Murrah Building April 19, 1995.
**Sadly, on May 20, 2013 Briarwood Elementary School was completely destroyed by an F5 tornado that ripped through South OKC and Moore. Below is a link to the article, mentioning Briarwood Elem. School.
