We were on our way to waymark some survey marks in the area and came across this old, rusted vehicle from yesteryear. It looks to be a 1930s-era pickup and missing most of the body but enough of this auto remains to grab your attention if you happen to be driving on the Refuge property. After doing some online research, it could possibly be a Ford or Chevy. I've ruled out Dodge because the side doors are too pointed at the corners and the back cab window is too big. I've also ruled out a GMC for the same reason.

This truck sits on the Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge and to get to it, you can park off Dorris Brownell Rd and walk to it within the Refuge boundary or you can drive right up to it on one of the dirt roads that heads north off Dorris Brownell Rd, although depending on where you exit off Dorris Brownell Rd, you might be entering private property to get to Refuge property, so keep this in mind.
