"Located at 777 San Anselmo Ave., in downtown San Anselmo, Fire Station 19 is the Administrative headquarters for the Ross Valley Fire Department. As such, it houses the offices of the Fire Chief, Administrative Assistant and Fire Inspector. The administrative offices are open 8:00am to noon and 1:00pm to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, except holidays. An extensive remodel fo the fire station was completed in September, 2009. The daily on-duty emergency response personnel consists of a Battalian Chief, a Captain and an Engineer/Firefighter. The station houses one first due Type 1 Fire Engine (structural firefighting), staffed by the Captain and the Firefighter, one command vehicle used by the Battalian Chief and one reserve Type 1 Fire Engine which can be staffed by off-duty and volunteer personnel as needed."
