3D model of what the old town area of Würzburg looked like after the March 16, 1945 British fire bomb attack on the civilian center of the town. Housed in a small room, there is a plexiglass cover over the model to protect it. The museum itself is very small and the model is the first thing you encounter when you enter. Burned out buildings, only the walls standing, a piles of rubble in the streets bring the devastation of war home to the visitor.
