I was originally attracted to a
globe tower on a support column along the river. As I walked along the footpath I noticed four other pieces of abstract art placed on a small wall. There are three coils of wire and an unraveling piece of spun cable. The tower can be entered and climbed to the top for nice views overlooking the river.
A plaque near the tower explained the sculpture in Swedish. It reads:
Translated to English, it reads:
Threads
It consists of five parts, a tower and four smaller sculptures
placed on the wall along North Quay.
The fiber is spun into yarn that woman to strands laid
together into ropes that are merged to the cables.
A skein of a coil or a spool of thread in a wound
resource, a potent special capacity that can build functions
and communications.
Threads forming chaotic tangled skein or parent
structures and tree-lined same flat solutions.
