Watermill in Slup - A national cultural landmark. Renaissance water mill from the middle of the 16th century houses a museum of miller´s trade.
The mill is located about 15 kilometres southeasterly from Znojmo. It is a spectacular renaissance building with four operational waterwheels and a hammer pond. It is a unique technical monument due to its size and architectural interpretation. The route is changed slightly because the interior of the building is being reconstructed and new exposition is currently being created. The focus of the exhibition is the inner-space of the mill itself, where you can see several complete factory units e.g. old-time Bohemian mill equipment, American and cylindrical mill equipment.
