For many years there was only one chain restaurant in Pea Ridge, and that was the Pizza Hut down the road at the end of a strip mall. But in the later years of the first decade of this century the town went through a growth spurt. Sonic was the first new chain restaurant to "hit" the town. It has been well received.

By the way, the historic battle of Pea Ridge was not fought in this town but on an area of the same ridge about 5 miles east of the town.
