This small local history museum shares a portion of the same building that houses the local library, both in the long plaza that makes up the Seligman City Hall and other municipal buildings. These buildings at one time were a full service gas station (whose car port is still present) and other shops, which were converted for use as the municipal plaza.
The museum is named after a prominent citizen named James L. Bottorff (not the senator from Indiana).
