The Eielson Visitor Center is located on Park Road inside the Denali National Park. Park road is a dirt road with no guard rail and is closed to private vehicles. You have to take a tour bus or one of the Nation Park busses to get there.

The weather station is located near the visitor center. It is close to a paved path, since the park service request that you stay on the path, the coordinates given are from the path.

The elevation of the station is 3730 feet.
Mount McKinley is visible from the Eielson Visitor Center during clear weather.
