I think this is the last rest area in the southbound direction before leaving New York for Connecticut.

No historic markers here, but for those interested in the large blue NY markers, there is a pedestrian bridge linking this Travel Plaza with the much bigger Sloatsburg Travel Plaza on the other side of the highway. To my knowledge, this is the only occurrence of two separate travel plazas linked by a pedestrian bridge in NY State, although the Angola Travel Plaza south of Buffalo, NY has pedestrian bridges linking both north and southbound lanes with the comfort station situated in the median. The Sloatsburg Travel Plaza has a waymarked historic marker, a Blue Star highway waymarked marker and a waymarked E 85 gas pump.
At this travel plaza, the McDonalds is waymarked, and there is a waymarked penny smasher. There are other fast food options inside including Carvel Ice cream, and other amenities including vending machines, an ATM machine, rest rooms (of course), free WiFi service and a gas station.
