[deutsch:] Die Abteibrücke gilt als eine der ersten Stahlbetonbrücken Deutschlands und führt im Berliner Ortsteil Alt-Treptow als Fußgängerüberweg auf die Insel der Jugend. Sie wurde 1916 fertiggestellt und ersetzte eine Fähre, die Besucher auf die Spreeinsel brachte. Die Brücke steht unter Denkmalschutz.
Die Liebesschlösser wurden nach dem Ende der großen Renovierung im Jahre 1994 an den Geländern auf beiden Seiten der Brücke angebracht. Es werden jeden Tag mehr. ;-)
[english:] The Bridge was built in 1916 and renovated in 1994. Since the last renovation, the bridge is used from lovers from all over the world to leave their love padlocks here. More and more padlocks every day! ;-)
