EN: The former rectory of Dornach, today a community center, is located opposite the old church in the center of Oberdornach.

The rectory was built in the 16th century as a representative building, shortly after the Reformation and the subsequent Catholic Renewal of the church. There is also an agricultural outbuilding. The house was repaired and modified several times. In the middle of the 18th century, it was remodeled in the Baroque style.

In 1939 a new, larger church was built and also a new rectory. The old rectory was sold to the State and served as a police station for several years, after that individual apartments were rented to private people. The somewhat dilapidated building was bought by the citizens community in 1990 and fully renovated in 1999. Since 2001 it is opened as a community center. It houses offices and meeting rooms of the citizens community, the archive of the museum of local history, apartments, a practice, and a baroque vaulted cellar used by local clubs for meetings and events.

Das Pfarrhaus wurde im 16. Jahrhundert, kurz nach der Reformation und der darauf folgenden Rekatholisierung der Gemeinde, als repräsentatives Gebäude errichtet. Zum Pfarrhaus gehört auch ein Gebäudeteil, welcher landwirtschaftlich genutzt wurde. Das Haus wurde mehrmals repariert und umgebaut. In der Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts wurde es im Barockstil erneuert.

1939 wurde eine neue, grössere Kirch mitsamt Pfarrhaus erbaut. Das alte Pfarrhaus wurde dem Kanton verkauft und diente einige Jahre als Polizeiposten, danach wurden einzelne Wohnungen an Privatpersonen vermietet. Das etwas heruntergekommene Gebäude wurde 1990 durch die Bürgergemeinde gekauft und 1999 komplett renoviert. Seit 2001 ist es als Bürgerhaus wieder geöffnet. Es beherbergt neben Büro- und Sitzungsräumen der Bürgergemeinde, das Archiv des Heimatmuseums, Wohnungen, eine Praxis und ein von lokalen Vereinen als Versammlung- und Festsaal genutzten barocken gewölbten Keller.
