The cemetery is on the east side of North Government Way on the western edge of Spokane, across the street from Greenwood Memorial Terrace Cemetery.
The memorial is a three section monument with Law Enforcement to the left and Firefighters to the right, and a centre section dedicated to all who gave their lives in the line of duty in Spokane County.
The Firefighters Memorial consists of a pair of polished marble slabs mounted at an angle on a stone monument. The memorial contains the names, dates of death and the likenesses of 18 Firefighters who lost their lives while serving their community. The dates range from 1894 to 2013.
The memorial is across a road from the Rose Garden Columbarium and beside the bell tower holding the bell from All Saints Church, near the front entrance of the cemetery.
