Panský pivovar je v Námešti doložen za pánu z Lomnice roku 1520. Casto spolu s panstvím menil majitele až jej v roce 1752 získal Bedrich Vilém Haugwitz. Ten pivovar rozšíril a jeho rod jej provozoval až do roku 1930. Tehdy pivovar koupilo Hospodárské družstvo. Výroba klesala a v r. 1949 byl uzavren.

Brewery is Námešti is documented from time of Lords of Lomnice 1520. Often, together with the estate changed hands until it acquired in 1752 Friedrich Wilhelm Haugwitz. The brewery has been expanded and his family ran it until 1930. At that time, the brewery bought the local Cooperative. Production declined and in 1949 it was closed.
