The little town/city of Chewelah has a pretty nice course which plays at over 9,000 yards altogether.

Don't get excited. It plays at 9,000 yards because the Chewelah Golf Club is one of the few around with 27 holes. The extra nine, according to the card, isn't an executive nine, either. It's a full size nine, playing at 3302 from the blues, while the front nine of the 18 plays at 3248. The nine also has a higher rating and slope than the 18.
One may play 18 for $30 on weekdays, and 27 for only $5 more - good deal.
We visited pretty late in the season and it was raining on the day we stopped by the course, but it looks to be a pretty nice layout. BTW, it was also foggy the day we were there - the course is quite a ways uphill from Chewelah. To be precise, it's about 4 miles from downtown Chewelah, all uphill.
Coordinates are at the clubhouse turnoff from Sand Canyon Road.
