Marshall Memorial Boulevard

On November 14, 1970, a chartered jet crashed on approach to Tri-State Airport near Huntington, claiming the lives of seventy-five members of the Marshall University football team, coaches, fans, pilots & crew. This boulevard, named in honor of these fallen members of the university family, leads visitors from the Spring Hill Cemetery to the heart of the Marshall community.
