Dam built to raise the Grand River to supply power to the Fergus and Monkland Mills. For more images of the mills see: (visit link) Fergus and Monkland Mills have been converted into condominiums.

View is nice all year round.
Good fishing spot too. In the Spring the volume of water going over the dam increases, sometimes dramatically.

Park in the Confederation Park lot next to Scotland Street. Follow the sound of the water, it's only about 200 meters to the falls.
