The cave Bärenloch ("Bear's hole) is located at the bottom of the large waterfall Bettstigi south of Wenslingen. You will usually get wet when you try to access the cave except in strong winters when it's frozen.

The cave was unnamed and largely neglected by locals until it was examined in the 1960s. The researchers found many relics of cave bears from 25,000 years ago, this also lead to its current name. The entrance to the cave has been closed with an iron fence to protect the inside. The local working group for speleology can arrange a visit.
