Due to the passing of the 11th amendment the Congregational Church built a new building on East Main St. The Town House was built on the town common in 1834. In 1897 a new library was built down the street and the town offices moved to this location at this time. This building was leased to the new organized Heath Historical Society for 199 years in 1901. The building first saw electricity in 1981. The building has gone thru major revitalization since the 1950's.
