The beach is accessed via a set of steps beside the sign. At this time of year it is unpatrolled however during the Summer season surf life savers from nearby Sussex Inlet provide patrols.
There are long stretches of sandy beach, a rocky reef popular with fishers & lovely homes overlooking the southern section. You need to be self sufficient so bring your esky, food, drinks, chairs, umbrella, sunscreen & cricket bat & ball. Apart from a swim the beach is popular with walkers & people exercising their dog.
Nudes aren't allowed although topless bathing is common on most Australian beaches. The sign sums up what you can't take/do on the beach - no glass, no alcohol, no camping, no fires, no cars, no motor bikes, dogs on a leash.
There is ample parking near the co-ordinates & a cement path leads to the steps. There are no toilets here however they are available in Berrara.
The beach is open all year round & is free.
