Mickey Shunick was deliberately hit by her abductor and murderer while out riding her bicycle in the early morning of 19 May 2012.
Her Friends and family celebrated her life with a bike ride and a concert, and then installed this ghost bike in her memory. A small park with flowers and shrubs was also put here.
