The Column erected here in 1731, widely recognized object of Catholic pilgrim's journeys from 1904, was financed by local butter trader Mr. Pitucha. The Column is formed by statue of Virgin Mary with Infant Jesus in hands, sitting on the invisible throne. This imaginary throne is covered by decorative bizzare statues of angels - some of them are represented only by winged heads. This sculptural group stands on high and richly decorated prismatic plinth surrounded by hexagonal (also richly decorated) stone fence with beautiful forged iron grille with Marian motif.
