This impressive sculpture pays homage to that fateful day in 2001 when our country suffered terrorist attacks on New York City’s Trade Towers. Bemidji State University ceramic students created this artwork using clay, tile, and even pieces of twisted metal to create four pillars while a swing hangs in the middle. Each pillar holds engravings with pictures and inscriptions such as “New York City’s broken view, crisis, rescue, terrorism, tears, rubble” recalling the tragedy on 9-11.
