Though this could be either a 2N or a 9N, we'll say it's 2N because of the steel wheels. It succeeded the 9N in 1942 and was continued until the introduction of the 8N in 1947. The reason for the steel wheels was the lack of availability of rubber during the war.
At an original price of $1,120, the 2N was produced with a Ford 2.0L 4-cylinder gasoline engine that produced 23 PTO horsepower. It came with a three point hitch and three speed transmission. After the war, many were converted to rubber tires, which was the norm on the prewar 2N.
Engine Type: Internal Combustion
Wheel Type: Steel
Make: Ford Motor Company
Model: 2N
