This market takes place every Saturday from May through October. In 2014 the market continues from May 17 to October 25, from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM. It attracts dozens of vendors and hundreds of hungry buyers.
We attended the fourth market of the year, on June 7, and the place was really busy. On this day they had everything from tomatoes and peppers to tomato and pepper bedding plants.
There was a vendor named Crooked Horn Farm, which grows oyster mushrooms (Yummy!) and organic produce. They are located just south of Winlaw in the Slocan Valley, right on the pristine Slocan River.
Every Saturday at Cottonwood Falls Park, Cottonwood Market features live music and a friendly vibe. Over 30 vendors are at Cottonwood each Saturday selling fresh produce, fresh juice, eggs, honey, local natural meats, home-brewed root beer, and a great selection of prepared savory and sweet foods. In addition, Cottonwood Market features a variety of unique products including jewelry, artwork, body wear products, hats, scarves, and so much more.
