Helipad at Lumberton Emergency Rescue HQ, Lumberton, NC - Helicopter Landing Pads on Waymarking.com

This volunteer squad has been serving the needs of the area citizens for many years. The helipad was put to assist the local hospital with a safe landing area for medi-vac mission of critically ill and injured patients to a higher level of care. The Duke University Medical Center stations a helicopter at this landing site daily for more rapid transfers.
