Hopefully whoever buys this lot where the old Zia Motor Lodge stood will preserve this great sign, which needs some TLC.
The Zia Motor Lodge sign was built in 1938, so it saw the pre-and post-war heyday of this famous road. The sign is located specifically at 4611 Central Ave NE.
