Located on the corner of N Center and E 4th Streets is the Reno Ballroom complex. There's a dated plaque that resides in front of the entrance that notes its dedication date of 2008.

The following text comes from the Reno Ballroom website and describes this building:

Welcome to the Reno Ballroom
401 N. Center St. Reno, NV 89501

The new, dramatic and largest ballroom in downtown Reno offers 32,700 square feet of luxurious and versatile meeting space. Accommodating more than 1,900 for an elaborate dinner and 2,900 for a general session, the Reno Ballroom is downtown’s new center for meetings and conventions.

Augmenting the adjacent 118,000-square-foot Reno Events Center, which accommodates 371 10-by-10-foot exhibit booths, and surrounded by more than 6,500 quality hotel rooms, the Ballroom is the cornerstone for Reno’s convention and special events business in the heart of downtown.

Large conventions and smaller meeting groups alike will find the column-free meeting space — divisible into six versatile and spacious rooms — the perfect business venue. Lofty 25-foot ceilings are complemented by fully dimmable lighting systems, and each room is self-sufficient with heating, air-conditioning, Internet and audio-visual controls.

The Ballroom’s experienced and courteous staff is committed to the success of your event or meeting. Call 775-325-7333 today for more information and date availability.
