The Union Theatre, which originally hosted live entertainment before moving to cinema, is classified with the National Trust which affords it the highest level of protection. The theatre is under the care of the Lithgow City Council & is now the home of the Lithgow Musical Society. An impressive Coat of Arms adorns the building.
