This dated bridge is located within the Rockwood Conservation Area and is situated near the historic Harris Woolen Mill ruins. The bridge once provided vehicular access to the mill, but now serves as a pedestrian bridge within the conservation property.
The date "1923" was hand-inscribed into the bridge, along the top of the deck on both sides (directly below the railings). The inscribed dates are very easy to see when you are crossing the bridge.
