This unpatrolled beach is accessed via a set of steps beside the sign.
The beach stretches between a headland & the Berrara Lagoon outlet. A rocky reef well known for its extensive fossil beds separates the beach from the ocean. You need to be self sufficient so bring your esky, food, drinks, chairs, umbrella & sunscreen. The beach is best suited to sunbathing, fossil & rock pool searching & is a safe place for children to frolic.
Nudes aren't allowed although topless bathing is common on most Australian beaches. The sign sums up what you can't take/do on the beach - no glass, no alcohol, no camping, no fires, no cars, no motor bikes, dogs on a leash.
There is ample parking near the co-ordinates however there are no toilets.
The beach is open all year round & is free.
