At a notorious intersection of Ash St and Rosebank Road this white bike is a stark reminder that a cyclist has been killed at this spot. A sign on the bike simply says,
"Memorial of a Cyclist who died here".
Details and dates of the fatality are unknown, but someone has placed this memorial and obviously this person will not be forgotten.
Please take care when visiting this busy corner. Use the pedestrian crossing.
***PARKING: There is a safe parking place in Highbury St, first turn left just past the intersection going south on Rosebank Rd. You will then only need to walk a few metres along a path and over the crossing to reach the bike.
