The today view is somewhat in front of where the artist would have stood, due to the overgrown nature of the right handside vegetation obscuring the porch of the church. The church tower is obscured by a large tree behind the left most cottage. There is considerable artistic licence taken with the layout of the cottages.
The painting, oil on hardboard, is in the collection of the First Garden City Heritage Museum.
