State Survey Marker 43508 is an unpainted bronze disk glued onto a large rock in the Rumbalara Reserve 'above' Gosford and Erina. It is close to the geocache GCXHJ6, "Shifter's Anniversary Cache".

While this is NOT in the MIDDLE of the bush, being some 20 m from the road it was quite a surprise to find a SSM here. As I didn't end up finding the cache it was nice to find something worth logging.
Then a couple of hours later I found it's 'younger brother' SSM 43507 almost 3 km away!
