EN: Joos House is located in the village part of Fraissa and is the oldest house in the village. The oldest part with the brickwork kitchen was probably built around 1300. The house has been extended and modified in various stages; the present shape dates back to about 1558. The barn to the west was attached in 1572, this part is dated above the door. The interiors are mainly from the 17th century.
The house has been uninhabited for more than 50 years and is greatly in need of renovation. In 2010 it was donated to the association "Valendas impulse" by the heirs, there are plans to renovate the house and make it available to the public.
DE: Das Jooshaus befindet sich im Dorfteil Fraissa und gilt als ältestes Haus des Dorfes. Der älteste Teil mit der gemauerten Küche wurde vermutlich um 1300 erbaut. Das Haus wurde in verschiedenen Etappen erweitert und verändert; die heutige Form bekam das Gebäude etwa um 1558. Der Stall wurde 1572 im Westen angebaut, dieser Teil ist über dem Eingang datiert. Die Innenräume stammen vorwiegend aus dem 17. Jahrhundert.
Das Haus ist seit mehr als 50 Jahren unbewohnt und stark sanierungsbedürftig. 2010 wurde es von den Erben dem Verein "Valendas Impuls" geschenkt, der plant das Haus zu sanieren und der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen.
