Set beside the Nicola River, the main section of the park occupies an island between the highway and the river. Here there are many picnic tables and washrooms while across the footbridge over the Nicola River is a large open grassed area and trails leading along the river.
Set right beside Highway 5A, this is definitely a recommended stopping point for a picnic or a washroom break before heading out of town.
Just traveling through? Need a table and some grass to spread out your lunch and let the kids run? Lions Picnic is set along the Nicola River with trails and a walking bridge to explore. This park has full washroom facility's to let you have a rest before you hit the road again.
