Jimmy's is located in old East Dallas, and they have five aisles of goodness, specializing in Italian imports. There are wines from all over Italy, pastas, sweets, olive oil, and some of their own offerings, like sausage, meatballs, and marinara. You won't find this stuff at the local box store.
They have a meat and cheese counter (with an olive bar), and one can order salads, sandwiches, and sweets (10 AM to 7 PM). Sandwiches are pretty much of the Italian variety, like muffulettas, panini, and subs, with a few additions like a Cuban and Philly Roast Pork sandwiches. Those going on the cheap can spend $3.99 on a half sub, while those looking to fill their bellies can spring for a full-sized muffuletta for $12.99.
There are a few chairs and tables up front if you'd like to eat your food here. Drinks are available from the cooler, and you're welcome to open a bottle of wine to go with your food. They even have a house red and a house white on draft; unknown whether it's on argon or nitrogen.
