World War II-era 25 pounder field artillery piece located in the Shelburne Memorial Park, in front of the town and community services building.
Breech and barrel markings are still readable. The gun is of 1942-vintage, and produced by Sorel Industries in Quebec. The breech was manufactured in 1944.
