Avaya Stadium is the home of the San Jose Earthquakes Major League Soccer team. Along with Levi Stadium, it is one of the two new stadiums to open in San Jose recently.

Avaya Stadium is the home of the
San Jose Earthquakes Major League Soccer (MLS) team. It is located on a site called Airport West, just south out the runway approach to the SJC International Airport.
Wikipedia states:
The stadium features a canopy roof and the steepest-raked seating in Major League Soccer to provide the best possible fan experience. Additionally, the north end zone houses the largest outdoor bar in North America, a two-acre fan zone and a double-sided video scoreboard. The suites and club seats are located at field level. The stadium is part of a mixed use residential, retail, R&D and hotel development.
Being in Silicon Valley, it is among the most technologically advanced stadiums in the world.
Avaya Stadium had a soft-opening with an exhibition game against the Los Angeles Galaxy on February 27, 2015.
The official opening date is March 22, 2015 when the Earthquakes play the Los Angeles Galaxy
