It was the discovery of a new bar / restaurant in Niort boards.
For several weeks, we know: the old Éclusier, well known bar Niort, was bought. So we looked forward to test that the new owners were going to make this super friendly place. The answer, it was discovered last week: a restaurant bar called "boards".

As the weather was nice, for once, it was placed on a table of their terrace. Finally, rather than a bench. We sit here as in the garden of friends on a large table. Unlike the garden of our friends there, we saw the Sevre the dungeon, halls and music in the ears. Background music, surprising when you know the owners, Maxime Bosselut and Fabrice Girard, as managers of the bar 11a. The break is exotic. On the menu this afternoon, veal Provencal, with tagliatelle.
It takes the same if our eyes are drawn to the map, planchas consists of meat and fish, a burger and grilled meat (prime rib to share, yum). "We wanted a barbeuc mind with great food" explain the two owners. They employ three people in the kitchen, it shows on the plate. The dishes are tasty and filling. If you are greedy like us ruez about desserts. That's what we did and we were not disappointed with the gourmet coffee with a lemon tart and a little sick digestive Glass bonus. We would love to return to it during the summer evenings when concerts are organized, or even Sunday morning. The boards offer a real brunch, and it is one of the only places in Niort to.

On a été à la découverte d’un nouveau bar/restaurant à Niort : les Planches.
Depuis plusieurs semaines, on le sait : l’ancien Éclusier, bar bien connu de Niort, a été racheté. On attendait donc avec impatience de tester ce que les nouveaux propriétaires allaient faire de ce lieu hyper convivial. La réponse, on l’a découverte la semaine dernière : un bar restaurant nommé « Les planches ».

Comme il faisait beau, pour une fois, on s’est installé sur une table de leur terrasse. Enfin, plutôt un banc. On s’assoit ici comme dans le jardin de potes, sur une grande tablée. À la différence du jardin de nos potes, là, on a vu sur la Sèvre, le donjon, les halles et de la musique dans les oreilles. Un fond sonore, rien d’étonnant quand on connaît les proprios, Maxime Bosselut et Fabrice Girard, aussi gérants du bar le 11 bis. La petite pause est dépaysante. Au menu ce midi, du veau à la provençale, accompagnée de tagliatelles.
On le prend même si notre regard est attiré par la carte, composée de planchas de viandes et poissons, d’un hamburger et de viandes grillées (la côte de boeuf à partager, miam). « On a voulu un esprit barbeuc avec de la bonne bouffe », expliquent les deux propriétaires. Ils emploient trois personnes en cuisine, ça se sent dans l’assiette. Les plats sont bien copieux et savoureux. Si vous êtes gourmands, comme nous, ruez-vous sur les desserts. C’est ce qu’on a fait et on n’a pas été déçus par le café gourmand, avec une tarte au citron de malade et un petit verre de digestif en bonus. On s’y verrait bien y retourner pendant les soirées d’été, quand des concerts seront organisés, ou bien même, les dimanches matin. Les planches proposent un vrai brunch, et c’est un des seuls lieux de Niort à le faire.
