First Congregational Church (United Church of Christ) peace pole was installed and dedicated September 11, 2011 on the front lawn of the church. The four-side pole on the corner of Main and Church Street is inscribed with the universal peace message, MAY PEACE PREVAIL ON EARTH, in eight languages. They are:
