The mausoleum appears to be constructed of granite and has a double metal door with grated glass windows. There are four pillars, two on each side of the door. The name Lewis is located on the eave above the doorway. Immediately above the doorway is the following text: "Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears, but laugh and talk of me as if I were beside you." The stained glass window depicting St. Jude is on the mausoleum's back wall. Etched into the granite to the right of the doorway are the names of three family members, two of them deceased and one still living. On the exterior right side of the mausoleum is the following text: "Paul and Marie were a team. They achieved success far beyond their dreams."
