Dick & Jane's Spot - Junk Design Houses on Waymarking.com

Artists Dick Elliot and Jane Orleman live in this spectacular home. The yard features sculptures by over 40 artists, but mainly features Dick & Jane's work. They have been working on the Spot for over 27 years and have used over 10,000 bottle caps and thousands of reflectors. Other discarded items that have been turned into art around their home are nails, bottles and bicycle wheels. The displays are constantly evolving as pieces decay and are replaced. The home has been featured on several television shows and in countless newspaper and magazine articles.
